Allowing for

I enjoy creating with materials that are readily available around me. While living in Plano, TX there were many giant resale stores just blocks from my home. The stores had rows and rows of tee shirts, each sectioned by color. I found it calming and beautiful to be around such carefully curated things. I was working with the concepts of "emptiness and allowing" and I began to discovered that within each concept the other can form. Visually I was interested in taking something common and dependent making into something uncommon and independent.
